Stepping Away

I took this shot several years ago, when I first had my camera, in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. It has been through several incarnations, and this most recent version has - I feel - benefitted from my increasing familiarity with photoshop. I know the photograph is far from perfect, but I've always liked it and I think that this is about as good as it gets.

I haven't posted anything here for some months. I haven't taken a photograph I consider worthy of sharing for such a long time now I begin to wonder if my inspiration will ever return...perhaps with springtime....
